Tick Tock, Tick Tock

                               DSC00799

Thursday, Eric and Carol came over for dinner ( they are my Full timing RVing neighbors).   I made a salad and dessert, they brought a thin crust pizza.  I mentioned to Eric that I wasn’t able to comment on blogs.  He thinks that it has something to do with being on Chrome and tried to comment while on Internet Explorer.  Thank you Eric!  I will still have to find out why it doesn’t work on Chrome.

Friday and Saturday I took care of more details, put in a change of address (on line), some more laundry done, only two things in the shed,(they will go in the truck bed when we leave) and brought the totes in to put all the loose stuff in for transport.  I still have three plants out on the patio which I will give to Sharon, my new next door neighbor.  she pulled her MH in Saturday and will probably be here for a while as she is still working.

Sunday, in between our two services they gave me a great “send off”, a cake, balloons and many Gas Gift Cards.  Thank you all for everything that you have done and the Blessings that you given me and mine over the last eleven and a half years at Grace Lutheran Church.

Tick Tock

It’s getting closer.  I have almost everything purged, although more will have to go when I see my daughters in AZ.  Then more when I get to TX.  Another daughter and a sister live there.

Tick Tock

Monday, UC Davis finally came through with a cancellation, so I was able to go in for my final follow up on my hand.  Dr. Allen says I’ve graduated and can go on and do whatever I want, just not hurt it again.  The only therapy would be using it and get my strength back, maybe using a stress ball, definitely the stress ball,( I just tried it and can hardly squeeze it).

Tick Tock

John, another neighbor, came over and put air in the tires on the bicycle that goes to my daughter in AZ.  I think that I will get a different kind of bike to ride around camp grounds for exercise.

I think that the rest of this week will just fly by and I’m sure that I will forget to do something that I should be doing before I leave.  I’ve made lists and and completed them, but ??????????  what else is there??????

Thanks for listening to the clock and visiting

  1. Congrats on your hand - sounds like it healed just right!

When are you leaving, do you have a date? Sounds like you're about ready to go. Can you believe it?

I haven't answered your e-mail, because I didn't know for sure where I'll be, but my plan now is to stay right where I am. Please come by and visit if you are going through Quartzsite. You won't want to stay where I am because it's a long term fee area, or you can pay $40 for two weeks, but there are tons of BLM sites you can stay in for free. :)

  2. I can't believe how the time is flying by and you are about ready to leave. I was hoping to get together with you before you leave, but I still have a pretty bad cough and have been staying pretty much to myself.

I wish you the best in your travels. Pretty soon the planning will be over with and the rubber hits the road. You are certainly ready for it.

  4. The only thing that sucks about you traveling mom is that you won't be there come May when I'm out there. Drive safe when you leave Saturday.

  5. I am so happy for you Susan. And it is so wonderful you have such great friends and loving, supporting family. We just have to meet while you're here in Texas. Happy trails! :)
