Angel get’s to ride with me. She’s in a crate and secured, so that I don’t have to worry about her.
A couple of weeks ago we drove up to the University of California, Santa Cruz campus to see if I could get some pictures overlooking the city of SC. It was a bit overcast,so the quality isn’t very good. We also spotted a family of deer along the highway and a squirrel on the campus.
After leaving the campus we headed down to the beach. There is a steep set of stairs giving access for surfers. There were a lot of surfers at this first location.
Here’s another access further along the coast and more surfers. It was a really nice day and there seemed to be some nice waves.
Heading further south on West Cliff Drive, we went down to the Municipal wharf and got these pictures. Those buildings house restaurants and gift stores. That’s a bit of seaweed floating. Then there’s the sea lions and the birds.
A week or so I had my last appointment for PT. Below is my Physical Therapist, Chris, me and his Tech, Gilbert.
Here’s another access to the beach, however it is on East Cliff Drive, right off the street. There’s even a paddle boarder, lots of sand and several people had a fire going.
I will miss going down to the beach when I leave here on Sunday. I really haven’t done much else while I was here for the last four months, just shopping, doctor and physical therapy appointments, Being near the ocean has certainly helped in my recovery, but it’s time to get back to work and hopefully save some money.
I hope that you all are having a wonderful day. I know that I am, because there’s no snow. (my daughter reports that there’s the white stuff coming down in Ft. Worth)
Thanks for visiting

Just modeling the sweatshirt that mom made from a sweatshirt she no longer wears. I’m sitting on the pillow from same shirt and there’s another sweatshirt from the other sleeve. It keeps me warm.
4 freaking inches today mother! Ehhhhhh I'm inside and not going out lol
ReplyDeleteNo snow here but wind and rain (our winter). Hopefully it's all gone shortly. Glad to hear you are done with PT and ready to use that arm again. Good luck with it. Love your pictures.
ReplyDeleteI promise we'll get together sometime. We get so busy!! Safe trip to Grant.
