This is definitely what I will miss when I move back to Grant Co Park next month. As much as I have complained about being cold and wet this winter, I still love the area, the beach, watching the surfers the sea and the birds. It would be a great place to park the wheels, however it probably isn’t a thing that I could afford to do. I guess that I will have to play the lottery. LOL
I haven’t done much in the last 2 weeks, except enjoy being warm and toasty with a few books. I have been continuing my PT, (just a few weeks to go). It’s a matter of getting my strength back. Most of my mobility is back. Once I’m back working it will get much better. Since I’ve been here in Santa Cruz, I’ve been lazy. I will have to change that. Retirement is a two edge sword. It’s nice, not having to go to work and all that goes with it. The other side is not going to work and all that goes with it. I think that is why I like workamping. It’s a compromise, working on your own terms, and still having time to do other things or not if that’s what you want. Sitting here these past few months has been a bit boring at times, but that’s been my own fault.
I think of all the things that I could be doing, but I just can’t get inspired. Maybe, it’s because there is no one to share anything with. It would be better then, but I will just have to live with the fact that I am doing this solo. It’s just not as much fun.
Later, today, I have to pay for this site for one more month. So after I do that, I think that I may just go down to the beach and take some more pictures. I'm sure that Angel would be happy to take a ride.
Thanks for visiting
Susan and Angel
Ah, most of us solo ladies eventually realize that we're not having quite as much fun without someone to share it with. I wouldn't want to be anything but solo, but still.... Wouldn't it be nice to find another person who felt the same way, had similar likes and dislikes, and you could travel together each in your own RV?
ReplyDeleteThe coast is beautiful but the cold would do me in. It would definitely be a different time for me if I didn't have Jim. I would probably become more of a hermit than I already am.
ReplyDeleteWe had a wonderful time last Thursday in Santa Cruz. Within the next couple weeks we'll be in touch and meet you over there before you head out to Grant.
