Tuesday the staples were removed.
It really didn’t hurt at all, Sandi asked for the grimace.
This past week I have several visits from the staff of Health South Rehab for observations and therapy.
Yesterday, Sandi called and asked that I be ready to leave at 8:00 in the morning. I knew that we were going to a Mother’s Day Luncheon at her church, but I “wormed” it out of her as to why so early. She had planned on treating me to a pedicure for Mother’s Day. We had a great morning at the “Spa”.
She wanted me to go different on the color of polish. My kids think that I’m boring and I guess that they are right, but I did go with “SPARKLE” pink instead of red.
Yes and then we went to the luncheon for a delicious meal, Grilled chicken with apples and apple cider sauce, assorted vegetables, fiesta rice, rolls and cheesecake.
Sandi “scored” with one of the Door Prizes.

I hope that you all have a wonderful Mother’s Day, celebrating with family and friends. It would have been nice to have all of my children here and I know that they would all like to have been here too.

Now about that boring comment from the kids....really, a woman who drove a big diesel truck pulling a big 5th wheel is boring? A woman who worked as a gate guard is boring? A woman who has worked at at several diverse workcamping jobs is boring? A woman who now lives in and plans to drive around the country in a big Class A is boring? A woman who has already figured out what color of nail polish she likes best is boring? Cmon kids, boring is the last thing that describes your mother. You go GF, you will be back on the road before you know it.

DeleteWhat you didn't say momma is that I got FIRST pick cause my number was called first LOL I gave her a LARGE choice of colors from pink to blue to purple to orange to silver and she wanted "pale pink" but got the pink sparkles (YAYYYYYYYYYY SPARKLES!!!). Tomorrow I'm picking her up for church and we are going to go to lunch after again. The luncheon today was a "Single Mother's Luncheon with children" so I took my three kids (lol yep you guessed it... my momma was one of my kids lol)
