Short post – Nap and Phone Calls

Another short post.  Just church today, a nap and phone calls to my brother and sister.  My brother will be having back surgery on Thursday. My sister is still trying to figure out if Rving with me is possible. I also talked with my son trying to figure out what to do to the mobile to make it more salable  (is that a word?).   This is my son Ted and his Dodge.

Other than reading blogs and little bit of Spider Solitaire, I couldn’t get motivated to do anything. Hope everyone had a great weekend.  now to get ready for another work week.  Even if it is only 4 days, it seems a lot longer.

Thanks for visiting

  1. I don't know anything about your home or what it even looks like, but staging it is important for that first impression when buyers walk in the door. When we put ours up for sale I went through every closet and got rid of stuff I knew we wouldn't want in the RV with us. Then I tidied up everything that was left and it made the closets look so much better. Also, get rid of as many knick-knacks and doo-dads that you possibly can. Less is more when staging your home for a sale. Also, make sure the windows are sparkly clean inside and out. Seems silly, but it does matter. Good luck.

  2. I did have it on the market a couple of years ago and did that, put the stuff in storage, staged it, but that was when the bottom fell out of the housing market. After a bunch of lookie-loos, I took it off the market. Now I have to continue getting rid of "stuff" and paint walls and ceiling, some landscaping and new skirting. Lots to do. Some my son can do, but I will have to figure out how to do the rest. I'm not worried. It will take time but it will happen.

  3. I hope you had a good weekend and your next work week goes very well. :-)
Yep, staging is so important...especially if you want to get as close to your top dollar as you can.
Hope your brother does well with his back surgery. I've been reading blogs (catching up) and this is the third mention of back surgery. We'll keep him in our thoughts and prayers.
