Short post, New work week

Home doing the watering,  Grabbed something for dinner, and catching up on everyone's blog.  One thing that I have been trying to do is to show my reading list with the links to the blogs that  I follow on my page where my followers are.  I just haven’t figured it out yet.  Any suggestions?  I’m sure it’s easy, but I’m just missing it.

Update on my doctor’s appointment,  didn’t actually see the doctor, it was the nurse who does the follow ups and the nutritionist.  The check up was for the 6 month follow up to Bariatric surgery that I had on January 4th of this year.  All the lab work came back good, and of course I need to exercise more.  I already knew that. 

That’s the reason for my protein shakes and small amounts of food.  I have lost 39 pounds since surgery and will continue losing.  My inspiration is my daughter who has lost 165 pounds and the fact that I have the goal of RVing and living a more healthy lifestyle.  Does that mean more exercise in my future?   I hope so, but on my terms, housework, painting, yard work. LOL ,sorting, tossing, donating, whatever it takes.  Then later short hikes, museums etc.

Soon to bed.  I’ve got to turn off the water first.  Good night all.

  1. Congrats on good news from the doctor and lab work. Congrats on your weight loss also.

    This lifestyle CAN be more healthy if you make the right choices. It is also an easy lifestyle to gain weight...it seems full-timers love to eat. It is so hard to resist visiting local restaurants. You need discipline. I had lost 20 pounds before going to Gulf Shores (Rainbow Plantation) for the winter. We ate out alot and before I knew it....the weight was back. Now I have to start over. You can do it....just be aware of the eating trap.

  3. Thank you so much for the encouragement. I know that I have to be diligent, because I'm NOT going back there. Besides I got rid of all my FAT clothes. No room for them in a RV :-)

  4. As far as showing your 'blog' list: Sign in to your blog, go to the 'dashboard' and you can add other blogs there. You may have to go to your 'settings' and make sure that the blog list is shown there as well. Hope this helps!
